Is deepstack a brokerage?↓

No. deepstack is a research and analysis platform, not a brokerage. We help you research and track investment ideas, but do not execute trades or manage money.

How do I add symbols to my watchlist?↓

Use Cmd/Ctrl+K to open the search, find your symbol, and click the star icon. Or ask the AI: "Add NVDA to my watchlist".

Where does the market data come from?↓

We use Alpaca Markets for real-time and historical market data. News is also provided via Alpaca's news API.

Does the AI remember my thesis and journal?↓

Yes! The AI has full semantic awareness of your active theses, journal entries, and emotional patterns. Ask "What are my active theses?" to see them.

How does the Emotional Firewall work?↓

It monitors patterns in your journal entries and alerts you when emotional states (like fear, greed, or FOMO) might be influencing decisions. The AI will be extra cautious when your firewall is active.

Can I export my data?↓

Yes! Go to Settings and use the "Export Data" button to download your theses and journal entries as JSON.

Is my data private?↓

Yes. Your watchlists, journal entries, thesis documents, and conversations are private to your account. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What AI models are available?↓

We offer multiple models at different credit costs: Haiku (4c) for quick tasks, Perplexity (6c) for real-time search, DeepSeek R1 (7c) for reasoning, Grok (12c) for fast responses, Sonnet (15c) for balanced analysis, and Opus (45c) for complex research. Switch models in Settings. Extended Thinking adds 50% to credit cost for deeper reasoning.

How do credits work?↓

Credits are used for AI features. Free tier gets 100 credits/month, Pro gets 1,000, and Elite gets 5,000. Data browsing (charts, news, options chains) is free. Only AI analysis costs credits. Check your balance anytime in the Usage panel.
